Funding

There are many options for accessing funding for speech and language services. Please contact your insurance provider to see if they cover Speech and Language Assessments and Treatment. 

Additionally, you or your child may qualify for funding through one of the following programs and charities:

The Autism Funding Unit in British Columbia offers financial support to families of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This funding is designed to help cover the cost of eligible autism-related therapies and interventions, including speech and language therapy. It aims to provide children with ASD the resources they need to reach their full potential, supporting services that enhance their communication, social, and academic skills.​

Variety - The Children's Charity of British Columbia is dedicated to raising funds to support children with special needs, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Among the supports it provides are funding for medical care and services, including speech and language therapy. Variety aims to fill the gaps for families in need, helping children achieve their personal best by enhancing their health, mobility, and educational goals through tailored assistance.​

The CKNW Kids' Fund is a long-standing charitable organization in British Columbia focused on providing assistance to children with physical, mental, and social challenges. The fund offers financial support for a range of therapeutic services, including speech and language therapy, to help children overcome barriers to communication. By funding these essential services, the CKNW Kids' Fund plays a crucial role in empowering children and their families to lead more fulfilling lives.

Our expert team of The At Home Program in British Columbia is designed to support families with children who have severe disabilities or complex health care needs, enabling them to receive care at home rather than in a hospital. This program includes funding for a variety of medical and rehabilitative services, including speech and language therapy, to assist in the child's development and well-being. The aim is to enhance the quality of life for these children and provide support to families managing their care at home.
