Accent Modification

Accent modification is about fine-tuning the way we pronounce words, specifically focusing on aspects like consonants, vowels, stress, and intonation, to make speech clearer and more understandable in a particular linguistic or cultural context. This doesn't mean changing who you are or completely losing your original accent; it's about gaining an additional set of pronunciation skills for different settings, like work or school. For example, someone might want to work on the way they pronounce certain consonants or vowels that are pronounced differently in English compared to their first language, or they might want to master the melody and rhythm of English to be more easily understood by others.
